Liberty Life
I have been waiting over two months for a policy that is due to pay out and am just getting a run around. for over a month now the only feedback from my financial advisor is that its with legal.
Looking at the reviews on Hello Peter i am wondering if i will ever get a response from Liberty. One would think that such a large company would be more accommodating and professional. I am insured with a much smaller insurance and get phenomenal service from them every time i need anything. I suppose i am just another number for Liberty.

09 May 2024, 08:58I have again responded to Liberty on this matter and have had no response. We as employees of the company in conjunction with the company took out retirement policy's and now that these policy's have matured i am having enlist issues with Liberty.
They are asking for the company directors to approve the playout when the company was deregister in 2005. The only South African Director of the company is now disseised and the directors in the US are no longer with the company. I was then told that the auditors must give approval for the pay out to be done , but they won't as they no longer deal with the company.
So in actual fact Liberty want to keep this money and are not willing to pay it out to me. As discussed with my Lawyer this will also effect my estate if i should Pass. The master will put a hold on the estate due to this money owed.
I expected a lot more from a company as large a Liberty. There must be a solution to this.
I feel they are steeling from me.
