Liberty keeps using my email address on someone else’s policy

I am lodging a formal complaint against Liberty for repeatedly using my personal email address on a policy that does not belong to me.

My email address has been linked to Policy Number: ***, a policy for a person I do not know and have no relationship with. I have been receiving Liberty correspondence since 2022 (possibly as early as 2023), including what appears to be policy-related communication.

This raises serious concerns around: • Data privacy and POPIA compliance • Whether the actual policyholder has been receiving their own policy documents • Liberty’s failure to correct inaccurate client information despite the issue persisting for years

I am requesting the following with immediate effect: 1. My email address must be removed entirely from Policy No: *** 2. Written confirmation that this has been done 3. Clarification on whether the correct policyholder has been receiving their documentation, as I may have been receiving information meant for them

I should never have been included on this policy, and the length of time this error has continued is unacceptable.

I expect this matter to be treated with urgency and resolved immediately.
