Liberty Insurance ********* Double Standards

I had life insurance and income protection cover for almost 10 years with Liberty. My premiums were paid timeously with any default. I called in wanting advice as my “broker” did not see the need to contact me over the past year or so. I was given his details and he stated that he was just handed my account by Liberty. I escalated the matter to Liberty and was told to complete a refund form for the past month where they will compensate me. This did not materialise when I submitted the form they had sent to me, reneging on their word. I exchanged words with the retentions consultant for lying, and proceeded to cancel my cover and was assured it was done and that no future payments would be deducted. On 1 November 2025, lobsnd behold they debited my account again after the cancellation.

This is unacceptable behaviour and I need the public to understand what they will be dealing with when signing up with Liberty Insurance.
