Liberty don't pay life earnings

About 3years ago I decided to take out an investment policy with Liberty Life as I believed they really will help me reach my financial freedom. Seven months ago due to covid-19, I decided to cash in on my policy and thats when my nightmare began. I handed in all my documents required and I was told they couldn't find me on the system. I panicked with worry but then later we realised that intially when i took the policy I was not married using a different surname Sereko, now I'm using Makgotlho which is marriage last name. I assumed that since I was debited from the same account number and with same id no it will be resolved, I was so wrong. I sent an affidavit with my marriage certificate and I was told they did find me and should wait for payment. Bank notification with R500 into my bank account, I was so confused and shocked as to why R500 as for 3 years I was expecting more. I was then told they do see another policy under my id no and need to send my documents of which I did and it's been almost 7 months now and still don't know if I'm coming or going with Liberty Life. I am tired of sending emails and I even went as far as going to their offices in Braamfontein and that also didn't seem to help. The question I have for Liberty Life is this "Does R500 seem like a fair payout after paying the policy for 3years? I am so broken and disappointed with the service and think you should change your company motto because what you say you stand for is far far far from the experience you gave me. I will tell whoever care to listen to run as far from Liberty Life as possible.
