Liberty did not cancel debit order

I am so disappointed with Liberty's service lately. Long story short, I surrendered a policy with number ***1. I expected foul play as I went ahead soon after that to my bank to cancel the monthly debit order of R500, to which the bank rep**** that I would have to contact the service provider as they can not cancel debit orders of that amount.

Even after a week of receiving the funds of my policy surrender, on the 26 June I was STILL debited the amount of R500 for a policy that didn't exist.

I have been trying without any luck to get a reversal and my money back with a Liberty broker with no success almost a month later for something that should take a day to reflect.
