INCOMPETENCE, DELAYS, EXCUSES ON PAYOUT OF RETIREMENT FUNDS

Recently I wanted to cancel my policy as I am no longer employed, and employment ended the 21st September 2024. So on the 16th October Liberty wanted to deduct two premiums consisting for R525 each, which was R1050, after the documentation was send the previous day, then only on the 16 October when I inquired about the double deduction, they only then informed me that documents should be send in prior 5 days before the next pay date, no one informed me this prior many calls to their call center about cancellation of policies, and also I have spoken numerous times to a Mr Moyo explaining and informing him that the policy needs to be cancelled where himself has also not informed me about the above procedure, then the also wanted My ID, Bank statements for a policy under the lump sum of R247500, where these documents is required, where mine was under the Amount of R15000 not required these documents, as stated in their application. Then also now they also request a tax number to complete the pay out. Which I do not see why as my gross income was under the 1 - *** tax year (1 March 2024 - 28 February 2025). They are quick to want their payments and let you know that you are late of missed a payment, and sometimes my payments if I paid via EFT and not debit order was lost. Client service via correspondence via email, telephonic call to parties and call center agents are non existing and also understanding of their own products and documentation is lacking! Their user and website is not very user friendly, telephonically it takes them hours to answer calls, or sometimes you can't even reach them. I would not even score Liberty a 1 out of 10 if I could. They honestly do not receive even a one start rating. They are taking to long to pay out retirement funds, and its excuses upon excuses every time. I would not recommend Liberty Life to friends or family or the anyone! This is utterly the worse of the worse companies, in terms of investment and retirement companies, I honestly hope I am not the only one complaining about this. Utterly incompetence from this company!!!
