I also made a claim on the 18th in Liberty life in Braamfontein Johannesburg as my mother passed on the 15th and the funeral was going to be on the 28th ,they said the money will be in my account after 8 days which is very unfair bcos when you join the policy you need something that is going to assist you to the funeral but with Liberty i didn't even get the money in the 8th day of wich even that was unfair.I only got the money on the 11th day if not 12 after the funeral, their sevice stinks ,i even made a follow up even after the funeral .They only paid money days after the funeral and after i even made a follow up asking when are they going to pay money as the 8th day has passed already .I don't recommend anyone to take a policy bcoz if that was my only policy i was going to be in for it .
