Horrible service No progress Pillar to Post

I submitted claim forms 01/03/2017. This is after I followed the instructions and had it completed by the Doctor. I was later advised additional documents was needed to be completed by the GP which the GP has since completed and sent back. I have followed up numerous times on the status of the claim and none of the consultants can tell me exactly whats happening. Up until 3 weeks ago Ivan Van Wyk sent additional documents that’s to be completed by the Doctor. Part that frustrates me is that my mom has a heart condition and for her to everytime be at the hospital at 6 in the morning means she must be up at 04:30 in order to see the Doctor’s at Helen Joseph Hospital. The latest documents has been completed and sent back to Liberty which Ivan has confirmed he’s received. It’s 7 days later and still no word.

Liberty has no emphaty for it’s clients. Imagine my mother with her condition has to travel back and fought and being inconvienced… The most recent ECG states very little work has a big effect on her…

Reviewer Update

Again Liberty goes against all we believe it should be. Happy Thloubala comes back to mess us around. This is after the doc's was sent 5 days ago. She now says that payment cannot be made into the the payers account after section 6 on the claim form clearly states that payment can be made into the payers account. She contradicts what is written in black and white. Less I understand what is written.

This is unacceptable.

She is very condescending in her assistance. Rather she tells me that my account has never been registered as the premium payer. When I stopped the debit order I told the consultant and the FA at the time that I will make EFT and I was not told otherwise or that my account needed to be registered.

We would appreciate this to be sorted out immediately. Let’s see if the supposed marketing of paying claims every 8 minutes apply. I doubt it does.

I have a RA with liberty and so does my wife with her Life insurance…
