********** customer service and processes

On Thursday the 15th June 2017 we app**** for a payout and submitted all documentation.

On Wednesday the 21 June 2017 we were informed that the tax directive would be app**** for.

On Tuesday the 27 June 2017 we emailed liberty for an update. The same day we received a email stating the tax directive was rejected as problem with SARS and told to go in and update our records.

On Wednesday the 28 June 2017 we went into SARS and updated our records. The same day we sent through the documents as per liberty request.

On Monday the 3rd of July 2017 (13 business days later) we called the call centre and told the tax directive should be done today which could take another couple of days and we should call Wednesday the 5th July 2017 to get an update. If successful then payment would be made which might be Friday the 7th July 2017.

Liberty's turn around times and client updating is shocking to say the least!

Very quick to take money from its clients but life most companies in South Africa, take their time when the clients needs are priority.

All documents were correct expect the SARS tax directive so why does it take 3 days to process the tax directive when all that was outstanding was the letter from SARS as per the request.

Any individual that is looking to Liberty for any cover I would think twice before dealing with them.
