I took out an RA and a provident preservation fund with liberty both on medium risk 7 months ago. To date I have lost 2.5% of the capital investment I have put in. They have made no money on my money but have lost/taken almost R7000 of my money over a period of 7 months. I asked to take my money out of liberty and now they want to charge me R17000 in penalty fees. So over a period of 7 months I will have lost R22000 on the R151000 I have given them... that's on the money I have put in as these policies have not made a cent in profit. From my experience my advice to anybody would be don't invest with liberty because it doesn't look like your money is safe with them or will ever grow in real value.
