Funeral policy with part I and part 2

I Malufu Maria Fini just notify that I have a policy that have part 1 and part 2 part I did took in 2018 and part 2 was taken in 2021 they both have the same policy number and I did go to the Vereeniging branch to enquire and showed them that the part 2 of this policy lapsed in March 2022 it was taken in July 2021 for who I don't know why did it lapsed I don't get satisfying answers
