Enough!
Hi All,
i had a retirement annuity with Liberty life for +- a year, i thought i'd change to old mutual as my husband moved his there and was very happy with there service. i called my adviser and explained what i wanted to do, he was very harsh and a complete different person as to when i first met him at inception of the plan, furthermore it was cancelled however was such a process, i waited literally 3 months for someone to make contact with me, each time i had to call them or email but none of the ablove worked the email always bounced back, today again i gave them another call to confirm whats the holdup, the consultant advised this was paid out the 14/9/2018 already, i advised all my debit orders and money that comes in i get a notification about, she advised i should get a bank statement i told her to hold i will log onto my banking app and check now, the statements came through and on the bank statement it reflected ad MAGTAPE CREDIT i asked her to explain what that means because i am wrong i'll accept but at the same time i'm not going crazy i know exactly what goes on in and out my account, the consultant could'nt help me because she didnt know what it was,
i called fnb to enquire, they advised payment was made however no money came in as there were not sufficient funds in their account, how insane is this?
i emailed them as i want my money, this is only fair as its my hard earn sweat money they debited not money that was owed to them, i am very upset infact disgutested by this because they are taking me for a ride,
please be warned people i mean if its below r7000 you can case out and thats mainly what i did but look at the out, if this is not dealt with i will take this to the ombud,
i feel everyone should be made aware of this to avoid having to go through all this trouble,
i hope i can help someon with my story.
thank you
