Don't Insure with Liberty.. Their ************ Practices are Draining!
I have a stop order payment for my life cover with Liberty Life which goes off like clockwork every single month. That way, payments can NEVER be late and I am able to maintain my IMPECCABLE credit rating. However, I will never allow Liberty the benefit of a debit order, since I've experienced issues relating to same (double debits etc) due to the small print allowing these companies carte blanche over one's bank account... Errors seem to be deliberately made in their favor, so one has to monitor their account/payments very closely, otherwise one risks losing money unjustly/being done in! It then becomes a tedious exercise, fighting to recover the monies accordingly. I've explained this to Liberty Life tirelessly over the past few years, going as far as posting complaints herein, in the past. Still, years later they CONSISTENTLY (EVERY SINGLE MONTH) continue to place me under DURESS to sign up for a debit order, by means of annoying MANIPULATION!! They FAIL to acknowledge my TIMEOUS STOP ORDER monthly payments, constantly sending me invoices alleging that my life insurance payments are in arrears! Totally absurd, since it is a SET/SCHEDULED payment!!! I find this to be not only nsulting to me, but also, to be extremely manipulative and totally inefficient on their part. I've spoken to my financial advisor about this, but nothing has been done about it thus far. I've called Liberty several times, having requested to speak to Sunil Nagar, the Finance Manager (signatory of the letters, whom same letters instruct me to speak to regarding same) but two years later, I have never been given the benefit of speaking to him... I am constantly told that he is unable, or unavailable to speak to me, so I am directed to his assistant members who acknowledge that my life cover payments are up to date and say that they can't understand why I constantly rreceive same letters. Duh! 🙄They then undertake to have the issue rectified, but never do, hence being an ongoing issue. I am sick and tired of this *******. I almost feel harassed with this scenario. It's been exhausting doing business with Liberty thus far. I've explained to several senior members, that in the event of my death, I don't want my beneficiaries having issues, or to experience delays with payments being honoured, due to this nonsense and they tell me that they get it, yet still, they don't do anything to ensure that this ongoing matter is adequately extinguished!? I've had ENOUGH. BEST TO CANCEL THE POLICY AND obtain INSURANCE ELSEWHERE!!! I can't deal with ************ business practices!
