I am writing this message to express my dissatisfaction and serious concern regarding the payout I received for my provident fund contributions.
I have been contributing R310 every month since June 2025, yet I only received R402.81 in total. This amount is extremely concerning, as it suggests that almost 80% of my contributions were not allocated to me. This is unacceptable and raises questions about how my funds have been administered.
Before I escalate this matter to the Office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator (OPFA). I urgently request a full, detailed breakdown of the following:
1. All monthly contributions received from June 2025 to date.
2. All deductions app****, with clear explanations for each.
3. The exact calculation used to arrive at the final payout of R402.81.
4. Clarification on why the majority of my contributions do not appear in the final amount.
I expect this breakdown as a matter of urgency, as the current situation is both unfair and unreasonable.
