I sincerely advise anyone looking for life or disability cover to look elsewhere. It might honestly be the worst mistake of your life. Remember this is your family's well-being when you are not able to provide for them anymore. So yeah probably the most important decision of your life.

And I can honestly say from my experience, Liberty does not give a **** about you. So be warned.

I have spent the last seven months in utter disbelief of how low the bar can be when it comes to service, and just basic human decency in general. And Liberty takes the cake, hands down. They have placed it shamelessly, abysmally low.

I have been struggling for SEVEN months with them just to get paperwork together for a claim. And it's still an ongoing process.

It has been a game of total obfuscation, buck passing, ignoring, delaying, the list goes on and on.

Their "processes" would make a medieval witch hunt look like the pinnacle of human ingenuity in comparison.

The truth is, - There is absolutely no logic behind it. - It is less transparent than the darkest depths of the abyss. - They don't want you to know what they are doing (or more likely not doing) in the background.

They (apparently) have no clue as to : - When what has been filed on their system. - Why different people continuously ask for the same documentation months after it was initially provided. - Why it takes 15 days each time you send them something to come back to you with new requests that could have been made from the start of the "process".

And I have asked over, and over, and over again.

The ONLY logic here is : Delaying, obfuscating, convoluting with the sole purpose of not actually delivering the service you pay for.

No wonder they have been rated THE worst Life insurer in 2021. Go look for the article on businesstech.
