Delayed claims processing
Delayed claims processing. Liberty is delaying a claim that was submitted and is being assessed. Claim submitted on 05/04/19 & there is no progress. Call centre is of no assistance. Please escalate to get this resolved!

17 Apr 2019, 16:28I have been calling the call centre daily with no update. No one else has contacted me either.
I called again today and spoke to Lerato. The claim is apparently still with the assessors. There is a backlog in your claims department. Surely this shouldn’t be my problem. Each time I deal with Liberty, I get the same story about your backlog. Not acceptable!! She advised that I need to wait for feedback & that Liberty will be in contact with me when they’re done.
Please can you help me to accelerate the process.

23 Apr 2019, 08:54We are now 19 days post claim submission & no finalisation yet. The call centre is yet again unable to assist me with any feedback. The appointed investigator is not answering my calls & apparently also not the call centre agents calls. Liberty is unfairly delaying my claim finalisation. Please escalate so that resolution can finally be reached!
