Cancelling own your life rewards program
one month ago I put my spouse onto OYL and paid the R1000 joining fee at Virgin. I have been a member of OYL since the start of the program. Today I received a letter that the program will be ending and my membership will not earn rewards any more, yet my spouse will still do, as her contract is new.

My predicament is that: I pay R1000 per month for risk cover at liberty, she just paid R1000 once off joining fee at the gym, we gym together, and, I will NOT pay R805 for gym without the reward, neither will she continue to gym alone!!! The broker as well as the call centre could not be helpful to resolve this issue as it is out of their jurisdiction.
I have lost faith in liberty. if this is the way they treat a client with rewards, how will they react when i need my risk cover in times of need?

I think liberty is deceiving letting my spouse join 5 weeks ago, all while keeping this under wraps...

Please advise: Will Liberty / OYL honour the gym with reward benefit for both of us until the official end of the program (31/3/2017), or should I cancel and move my entire portfolio of liberty life (policyholder since 2004) to momentum?
