Awful experience with Liberty

In 2024 I moved all of my insurance to Liberty as we consolidated all of our family financials with a family friend who wanted to take over as our broker. Since my debit orders were going off at random dates in the month, or bouncing for no reason, or investments were taking impossibly long to withdraw, I decided to terminate the services of said financial advisor and move my money to more trustworthy providers. Our advisor operated through a company called Hereford Group for Liberty.

When I transferred my retirement annuity to Liberty, it barely took 24 hours. Now transferring back to my preferred provider, Liberty is threatening me with a 180 day turnaround. The advisor has been antagonistic about my decision and has stalled, delayed and attempted to talk me out of this decision at every opportunity. This has been the most unpleasent, unnecessary chain of events to undergo, the only thing worse was actually having to tolerate the poor service and trust my money with these people.

As someone who once re**** on Liberty I cannot more strongly enough warn other people against them. Awful awful experience! Avoid Liberty. Avoid Hereford Group. Avoid avoid avoid.
