A month later, no payout and no feedback from Liberty. Appalling!

My father had a life policy with Liberty which was paid up to date until he passed away. Liberty promises a maximum 15 working day turnaround time to pay out any claims. The claim was submitted on the 10th of October 2021. After submission, no one has come back to us or our broker regarding the claim. All the documents were handed in as per their instructions. We are now standing at 20 working days since the claim was submitted. Getting through via their call centre is also a nightmare and the only response you get is that the case has been escalated and someone will get back to us within 48 hours, which never happens.

My father took out the insurance to ensure that we would be able to continue running the family business in case he passes away. So now here we are, struggling to make ends meet and keeping the business afloat due to Liberty's failure.

Never in my life will I take out life insurance with Liberty or recommend them to anyone. This is unacceptable and gross negligence.
