5 year investment

hi Dont understand how the Hell investment companies have the right to do what the hell they want

i invested R150 000.00 5 years ago and the broker ensured that an Illustrative Value of R228000.00 will be received after putting this money away for 5 years,, next month is that 5 years and know when its time to pay out the value is less than R150 000.00 this money could of been put into a notice account where even R100 would of been better. i will ensure no1 i know will ever invest with this company
