Credit profile and Personal Information

I Received a call from Liberty claiming that I pay too much interest that is not according to the National Credit Act and then I received an SMS that stated that I gave consent to draw a credit report of my credit profile. I DID NOT give them consent. They phoned me and had all my credit profile on hand already! I did not sign anything with them. This is identity theft and this company need to be reported for breaching POPIA. They had all my personal information already, they read back my id number and asked me to confirm it. I will definitely be laying a complaint with the credit ombud and the regulator.
