Warranty only covers part but not labour to replace the part

I purchased an upmarket LG Microwave in May 2020 that came with a 10 year warranty on the magnetron. Yesterday the microwave stopped heating. When I took it to the LG agent this morning they advised that LG only covers the cost of the part but not the cost of the labour to replace the magnetron. The labour cost will be approx R500! How ridiculous is this? You can be sure I will not be buying another LG product.
