Redundant part for a CD Player
Last year in October, I lodged a complain because a CD Player that I bought a couple of years back could not be repaired because LG Electronics said the part needed is redundant. Now the whole DVD Player is useless even though the radio was still working. I would like to know how many years can LG confirm the lifespan of their CD Players? The manager responsible for parts, said, that the part was about 10 years old. I find this in bad faith that there is no universal part that can be used and the whole unit is deemed useless because of one part, serial number 508INLV83184. I understand the CD Player was discarded as I did not collect within the prescribed time but now requests to know, what is the reasonable Life Span of LG CD Players?
