LG treats SA customers worse than the rest of the world

Sadly LG treats South African customers worse than UK and US customers. I bought a OLED C7 55 inch TV in May 2018. It wasn't a cheap TV. There is a known factory defect which results in a 25% window burn in because the panel was cooled unevenly. LG has admitted as much and has agreed to replace the panel beyond the warranty period for affected customers in the UK and US. I wish that was the case in SA, but since last year when I first logged the issue they are passing the buck. Please help.

From the US and UK: "As this is not an issue with the panel itself, it is possible to apply a fix to the lookup table. LG will apply this fix to anyone who presents this issue to their support, for free, even after the warranty period has long expired. They have fixed our two affected TVs"
