LG Smart TV less than Smart

I have a recently purchased LG Smart TV that is incompatible with the Neflix app ... eventually got hold of the people in the call center who could answer the question and was told that they are aware that it doesn't work on all TVs and have no timeline on when it will be fixed. So now ... do I go back to the store and tell them it doens't work as advertised and trade in for a Samsung, or shell out another R2k on a media center to make my supposedly smart TV actually Smart?
