LG must fall

Bought an LG double door stainless steel fridge from House and Home. After a few months the fridge started discoloring. The fridge was still under warranty, went back to the retailer who then referred the matter to LG, they sent a technician to come assess. The report we got was that we used harsh detergents on the fridge. I asked them how our dishwashing sink, microwave and other appliances are not discoloring even though they are all stainless steel. We told them we use a clean cloth just to remove the finger print stains on the fried he, but nope, both LG and House and Home did not want to take responsibility for the manufacturing defect. The fridge is not even stainless steel, it is plastic. The color is now cream with patches of silver paint. LG is the worst brand when it comes to higher range fridges. I googled and came across the same complaints from oversees customers on the site “ https://www.houzz.com/discussions/950777/lg-refrigerator-stainless-has-a-discoloration“.

Many customers are complaining about the same thing, but LG does not want to take responsibility for their poor quality refrigerators.

I even opted to ask them for replacement of the fridge doors / panels with actual stainless steel ones, they refused and said there is nothing they can do for me.

This behavior is unacceptable and CPA and NCC must act accordingly. LG is abusive and arrogant.
