LG G4 Faulty Stays in Bootloop
Good day
On 23 March my LG G4 phone stayed in bootloop, (faulty motherboard). After some research I noticed, this is a known defect on some of the elder models. I took my phone to LG (still under warranty) for repair. After a week I was informed by Jonas (technician from Xecutronix tel ***) due to spare shortage my phone would be replaced! After taking more time off to collect the phone and take it to a Cell C branch for exchange (as I was informed to do by LG, with job card, ref #, phone, box and accessories!) They also contacted Cell C OR Tambo! When I took it in they were unable to assist me. I had to book my phone in a second time!!
My Complaint:
1. Approaching almost four weeks, phone still in for repair/replacement!!!!!
2. NO meaningful correspondence from LG Amos Mamabolo (LG service correspondent, tel ***)
3. Amos Mamabolo does not return e-mail or phone calls!! Only two one liner mails were returned NIL INFO!!!!!
4. Why sell phones with known defects to customers, and still make this proses so tiring!!! This is very frustrating especially when I use my phone for most correspondence, I work on site.
5. Was informed by Cell C 19 APRIL that spares has arrived.
