LG G4

I have a LG G4. Early in February 2017 I was waiting for my brother to send me a message and my phone just went dead. The battery was still half full so I didn't think that could be the problem. After waiting an hour I tried to switch the phone on again, to no avail. I vibrated for a while, but that was it. No picture, no sound, no nothing.

I took the phone to MTN as this is a contract phone. The guy at the shop informed me that they had to send it to LG to be fixed as the phone was still under guarentee.

After 7 weeks I got a message on my daughter's phone that my phone was ready for collection. I got the phone back and the consultant at the store told me to charge the phone a few hours before switching it on. I did that, but when I tried to switch the phone on it still wouldn't work.

I went back to the store and told the guy that I still had the same problem. He told me he will send the phone back to LG. After another four weeks I received a sms saying that I had to pay over R3000 to have my phone fixed after the consultant at the store told me the phone was still under guarantee.

I phoned LG and was told that because the small glass for the camera at the back of the phone was broken, the phone is not working. How can that cause the phone not to work. I think they waited until the phone's guarantee lapsed and then informed me that I had to pay.

I am really dissappointed. Especially due to the fact that I have been without a phone for over three months now, but I still have to pay the contract with MTN.
