LG 43" UHD TV problems
I bought a LG TV from Game Cresta on 3/11/23 (on recommendation from a sales guy - this is not a brand that I would normally look at) and returned it on 10/11/23 as it was making strange noises when switched off. It sounded like there was a fan constantly running when the TV was on standby.
I asked that I get a refund as this was the 7th day and was told that the TV would need to go to LG for approval. I phoned Game today to be told that I will only find out about the result in 21 days. This is really bad service as I am now stuck without a TV and forced to wait 21 days without a refund or a replacement - what happened to the 7 day return policy??????? This is the last time that I will shop with Game and probably the first and last time that I will try an LG product.
This is a great way to put off a new customer when you provide a faulty product and then you still take your sweet time to replace or refund. I should have just gone with Samsung as I originally wanted to.

Best regards,
I have also done some searching on the web and this seems to be an issue with LG TV's in general that has been experiences by quite a few people - apparently an issue with the PSU. The general consensus is that LG have issues with the quality of their production line and that you should stay away from this brand. This will teach me for listening to a sales person and not going with a brand that I have had a good experience with before. Note to everyone reading this: DO NOT BUY AN LG TV
