Is it all a lie

a year and a half ago I purchased an LG fridge at hifi corporation Menlyn. Everything went well till last year August when the fridge monitor started to malfunction. I went to hifi Corp Wonderpark where they booked an LG technician to come out and have a look at it which he did and told me he will bring a new monitor. Now take into consideration when I bought the fridge I was sold an extended warranty and told my problems were covered. Now since August this technician never came back I have since been waiting. Early this year the fridge stopped making ice I went back to hi fi Wonderpark and a new tech was sent out. He left and haven't heard anything from them ever since. Do they really have an after sales team or we are just fed lies from the hi fi Corp staff.is my fridge ever going to be fixed or I must consider moving to another brand
