False marketing by LG Electronics and its Consultant instore at Makro Germiston/Edenvale

I went to Makro 4 weeks ago. Wanted to buy a 2019 LG TV. As per display I asked the LG representative question in order to make an informed decision. Ine question was does the LG Nano cell 65 model 8100" tv also has the feature where it displays pictures and famous art work with a frame as displayd on the tv's on the floor?

The consultant confirmed in front of witnesses that it does and even showed us on the model 8100 that it does. On that information we bought the tv.

To my disappointment after setting it up at home we could not find this function on the tv.

I phoned the same consultant the next day at Makro and he then had a different story. Said no that model does not have it but if I bring him a memory stick he will give those pictures to me and I then habe to plug it in at the tv.

After contacting LG head office they confirmed that that model does not have it but dont know why instore I was told otherwise. Subsequently after communicating with the GM at LG his comment was nothing else but, we cannot help you, you should have made sure when you bought the tv.

So beware, LG uses false marketing to get sales and afterwards they turn around and blame the customer and walk away.
