Dysfunctional iron button

I bought a washing machine from Builders. I don't know how to use the iron function. I went back to them to show me. I gave them the proof of payment and they promised to come to house to show me. They never came and when I went back, they wanted proof of payment which I didn't have because I already gave them. I told them that even if LG can call and tell me how to use the iron function, that will suffice. They refused. Now I'm sitting with the washing machine that has a dysfunctional iron function.
