Don't buy an expensive LG brick
I bought the most expensive microwave in Makro in 2018, a LG Neochef for R4500. Now you'd think it would outlast my parents R800 microwave (working for 17 years so far), but you'd be wrong. After one year in 2019 this LG microwave started having issues. Every once in a while it would stop working reporting a F11 error. During 2020 it started happening more frequently and today I took it back to Makro, just to hear that the 10 year warranty plastered all over the box and microwave apparently does not mean 10 years warranty.
I'm never buying ANYTHING LG again. If you're planning on buying something LG I would recommend you buy literally any other brand. Even the most expensive LG will break, and you will be sitting with an expensive worthless brick.
