Beware of LG cellphones

I have a LG Cellphone. Unfortunately it fell and the screen cracked. Even though it's under warranty, the screen understandingly isn't covered.

I contacted two LG repair centres and was basically told it would not be cost effective to repair the screen and I should try another company. However, the problem I gather is that LG cellphone spares aren't readily available, so I could find anyone else to assist me. Then I managed to contact an LG agent who is able to supply and fit the screen, but agreed that it would not be cost effective.

So now I sit with a cellphone that I can not use and that is on contract.
