Recently I've had the horrible experience of getting text messages from lexmed demanding money and making threats. They don't even have the decently to explain what the payment is in relation to or the professional courtesy to send an email. I made payment at their overinflated mark up which doubled my medical bills and NOW they are demanding more money because they added there interest AGAIN a day after I had already made payment. Not only will I NEVER EVER deal with any medical practitioners who use this horrid debt collecting machine but it's quite disgusting how a company profits off Ill people who struggle to pay their doctors or who were unaware they even owed the money. I would like my case investigated. They are demanding R94 which may not seem like a lot but given that I've already paid them double my medical expenses this is just plain exploitation and inefficiency on their part billing a person for interest the day after I informed them full payment was made. I work during the day so would like an email with full detail on my case and an apology. Then I only hope that I will NEVER EVER HAVE THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH LEXMED OR THEIR CLIENTS AGAIN.
