inflated account balance
I had a letter of demand from Lexmed where I was owing a surgeon about R250 and Lexmed demanded I contact them within 10 days. The so called Caroline Kekana from Lexmed called me a day after i received the letter
Because I was in a middle of a meeting I couldn't talk to her and another thing I couldn't understand why she is calling me because their letter stated i should call them within 10 days. To cut the long story short I made a payment of R 260, 60 into their FNB account immediately after the meeting (which is what he letter of demand stated i should pay) FNB to FNB transfer.
You know an hour later I receive an sms from them now giving me a new amount of R316, 10 that I now have to pay. I can pick up from the complaints on Hello Peter that they throw in some fees into your account inflating what a customer end up paying. But what they are trying to do is unbecoming, they should not use such opportunities to distort money out of unsuspecting customers.
