Phenominal service

My Lexmark printer is 5 years old now. <br> I sent it in for a service to a company that repairs Lexmark printers as Lexmark themselves do not have a repair centre in South Africa. <br> They did the service but somehow managed to damage the print head. <br> Of course they denied liability and stated that I needed to replace the print head and that would cost me in the region of R2000.00.<br> ( About USD 200.00) I told them that was ludicrous as I could purchase a new printer for less than that. <br> They basically said 'tough'<br> I then contacted lexmark international and told them the story. <br> The lady I spoke to heard me out and then asked my details and physical address and told me a new printhead would be couriered to myself. <br> What amazing customer care. <br> Lexmark you are fantastic. <br> It is an enormous pity that Lexmark no longer manufacture personal printers as in the 5 years I have had one it has been great. <br> I will in future definitely only purchase Lexxmark products where possible. <br>
