THE WORST SERVICE!!

The worst service ever. I ordered a book after one of their sales consultants told me i would get the book before lock-down. Take note i called more than once. I even had a discount voucher but was told to go ahead and pay the actual price without the discount so they could process my order. I DID NOT get the book, promises were made that my case will be a priority as soon as they can deliver. Only discovering that deliveries resumed on the 17th of April and i don't have my book. I called the agent who then tells me she doesn't know where the book is. How *********** can you guys be? When you made me pay you didn't have problems but now you can't just honor your promises. Rather disappointed and i will never purchase books here after all this.

Dear Gugulethu S
We would like to apologise for the frustration you have experienced with this order. Your order was placed on 24 March and we had formally communicated to clients in advance that orders received after 23 March would only be delivered after lockdown. This message was also reflected in our online bookstore. We had anticipated resuming deliveries on 17 April after the initial 21-day lockdown, however  the government’s subsequent lockdown extension prohibited us from being able to do so. Online access is the only solution we can offer until we are able to resume all deliveries and I understand that you were granted free trial access on 26 March for the same publication.

We will also be in touch with you directly.

Kind Regards

Reviewer Update
Good day Neliswa,

Please note it was not communicated to me, I only found out about this after lock-down whereas when i called i was told my delivery would happen before lock-down (i have all this on email).I also did not do an online order so i wouldn't know what was published there. I called before I placed the order. My order was through your customer care line, (which I assume if your team knows that they were not supposed to make promises they wouldn't be able to deliver on). I have all the emails to prove all this. This was after your customer service agent told me to do the payment and send her the POP which I did. All this is on email too. My understanding is that my classmates have now received their books and they ordered after lock-down so i'm not getting why the hold-up is for my book. As much as i have the free trial i actually need the hard copy which I have explained to customer service before.

I will be waiting for your team to contact me.
Thank you
