Why keep "waiting" for more bad service?

I purchaced a cupboard (which requires in-home assembly by Lewis), just over two months ago. The first assemly took place soon after it was delivered... but upon completion the cupboard was damaged from the assembly.

I voiced my dissatisfaction immediately but I had to continue to wait from one day to the next for them to come replace it. I waited over three weeks, but upon delivery of the new cupboard, the Lewis employee doing the assembly noticed that the parts delivered were in a worse condition than the one they had to replace. I was instructed to insist on another one to be delivered because of the poor condition.... Third time's the charm, right?

Now it is the third time I am waiting for assembly. Each time I contact Lewis (and go to the store to address the matter with the manager in person), I am promised each time that it would take place either on the same day or the following day. As past experience has taught me it wouldn't happen as they promised, I give them the benefit of the doubt - perhaps they would try harder seeing that they have a bad reputation as it is with all my complaints... but no.

The whole process from the initial purchase to now is going into the third month now - and they have received payments already, by the way.

Why am I even waiting on them to give me even more empty promises and bad service?

... guess what... they were just here, but the mirror is broken on the cupboard. This is now the third return on one purchase.
