*LEWIS STORES – EAST LONDON GLADSTONE STREET + HEAD OFFICE CAPE TOWN*

I worked for Lewis Stores for 12 WEEKS from Jan 2026 till 12 April 2026.

*HOW I WORKED:* I USE TO GO TO SHOP EVERYDAY on Gladstone Street, East London. They gave me ONE cheap Lewis t-shirt. No contract. No payslip. No explanation.

*NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING WHY I’M HERE.* I stood there for WEEKS. Only afterwards, weeks later, they said I’m “canvassing”. No job title. No pay structure. No basic. Just “stand here”. I walked to work. R0 transport. R0 airtime. R0 data. I used my own phone, Facebook ads, WhatsApp, and friends/family to get you leads.

*THE SALE THEY STOLE:* *THE CLIENT PHONED IN TO THE STORE.* I convinced her. I closed that sale from the street. I WAS HAPPY I GOT A SALE. She signed CREDIT for a R20,000 couch because of ME.

*BOOF DOLO* = I got R0. No commission. No basic. Nothing. Your permanent staff inside took the commission for MY phone-in client while I stood outside.

*WHAT ELSE YOU GOT FROM ME:* I sent you customers from my social media to Lewis stores in Transkei, Limpopo, Gauteng, and nationwide. Staff inside got commission for MY leads while I got R0. I have screenshots.

*WHAT I GOT:* R0 for 12 Fridays straight. No UIF. No contract.

*HEAD OFFICE HARASSMENT:* Saturday 19 April 2026, HEAD OFFICE CAPE TOWN phoned me. Not to pay me. To tell me I’m “not entitled to anything” and to stop posting online. I recorded the call. My kids are starving while you tell me I deserve R0 after I made you R20k sales.

*YOU STOLE FROM MY FAMILY TOO:* 1. *I PAID FOR A BED* using my MOM’S MONEY. Order is UNDER MY NAME. Where is the bed? Where is the refund? 2. *My uncle paid R600 CASH* to your staff. NO RECEIPT issued. Tax *****. SARS will want that R600.

*THE LAW YOU BROKE:* 1. *BCEA Section 34* – 12 weeks unpaid = ******** offence. 2. *BCEA Section 9* – No employment contract. Never told me why I’m here for weeks. 3. *UIF Act* – No registration, no contributions. 4. *Forced Labour* – ILO Convention 29. 5. *Tax Administration Act* – Cash no receipt.

*I DEMAND IN WRITING WITHIN 48 HOURS:* 1. *MY MONEY* – 12 weeks basic wage + full commission for the R20,000 CREDIT COUCH the phone-in client signed because of me + commission on EVERY other lead sold nationally Jan–April 2026. Send EFT proof. 2. *BED REFUND* – Full refund for bed paid with my mom’s money under my name. Send POP. 3. *UNCLE’S R600 REFUND* – Refund cash taken with no receipt. Send POP. 4. *UIF AUDIT* – Proof you registered me and paid UIF for 12 weeks.

If I do not get all 4 via email in 48 hours, I file: 1. CCMA + BCEA claim 2. Department of Labour inspection for Gladstone Street 3. SAPS case for theft of labour + commission theft + ***** 4. SARS report for cash no receipt + UIF evasion 5. Labour Court for forced labour damages

Lewis made me go to shop everyday for weeks with no explanation. I convinced a phone-in client to sign R20k credit. I was happy I got a sale. *BOOF DOLO* – you paid me R0 and kept all the commission. Then Head Office phones to threaten me.
