Unfairly discussing and harassing a third party over my account
I am a new customer with Lewis since April of this month I bought a new TV and bunked beds for my kids initially when I opened the account my salary date was the 25th deductions went off with no problems I switched jobs in June and advised Lewis about the salary date change that wasn't amended in time causing my payment to be deducted on the wrong date I took the liberty of walking into a lewis store in Randburg square to query whether or not my payment was successful as I was unclear and was then advised that it had not gone off successfully
Bear in mind the work I do has given me the opportunity to sit with heads of collections at Lewis who had made it abundantly clear that repossession of goods is not a Lewis policy. with the failed payments of which I have already made commitments and attempts to get the debiCheck date corrected last month my deduction was again presented on the 25th although having corrected the date to the last day so no funds was received. which I have notified Nicole who works at Lewis Eldorado Park she is aware of the matter.
Yesterday 12 August 2024 Lewis Eldos went to my home in my absence and threatened to repossess the goods. I shared the account balances with a 3rd party and told them that they would be back to collect the stuff if payment is not made today 13 August 2024 Lewis Eldos after having phoned and spoke to me went back to my home again with threats to repossess goods even though I was on call with Lewis in efforts to resolve this mess cause by incorrect deduction date
Now the person who left a message with said to call a certain Abie didn't leave a number another so I'm confused as to how does a store of their caliber insists on this constant harassment of a third party for my account that I am not disputing or refusing to pay with threats of repossession which goes against their collections principals
