Unacceptable Service and Waiting Periods for Repairs
I Bought a Kelvinator Twin Tub at Lewis Eldorado Park store June/July 2017 and was told the machine came with a 3 year warranty. This year September 2018 the spinner broke. I Reported the matter to the store and was issued a repair note to be carried out on the machine on the 3rd October 2018. Since then no-one has further contacted me regarding the matter, nor has anyone been out to attend to the repairs of the machine. This despite me visiting the store on a regular weekly basis since then to enquire about this matter. It has been over a month now with no-one even as much attending to the matter. At the store it is empty promises about it going to be attended to as soon as possible, but in reality, nothing has STILL not been done about the matter. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable, and if the matter cannot be resolved as an absolute matter of urgency I feel a refund for faulty goods sold should be in order. Baring that the next step for me would be to lay a formal complaint against Lewis at the National Consumers Commission. I have all relevant paperwork (receipts and repairs logging slip as issued by Lewis, yet absolute failure to keep good on their word from their side) should it come down to it, which i really hope it doesn't. Lewis could you please attend to this matter as a matter of Extreme Urgency as I am now tired of begging and simply cannot see why such a simple matter has taken so long to be attended to, other than absolute disregard from clients from Lewis's side.
