paid off but still owing.

hi I paid my lewis account off in full they offered me a settlement amount less than my outstanding amount but i still paid my out standing amount to be safe i then contacted them to let them know i paid they then said we see you paid more than the settlement amount there for we going to refund you the balance so they did.so after receiving the refund to my surpprize they credit bureus where not updated.they then contacted me and ask me when am i going to make next payment,telling me my account is outstanding of the same amount they refunded with.customer care of Lewis could not give me an answer they say i must wait untill the end of lockdown.so i don't understand they give discount on your outstanding amount refund you then tell you that you still owe money even after getting a paid up letter from them. how can that be.it is very disturbing to see Lewis doing the update on credit bureus every month but after paying off the account they don't update. not proffessional at all.
