Paid for a couch but no delivery

I took out a lay-bye on the 30th of June 2018 for a Sofia sleeper couch in the Mthatha store (York Rd). On the 6th of July 2018 I paid the amount that was due and settled the lay-bye. When I wanted to pick up the couch I was told that the couch is no longer available. Later on in the day they called to say that the couch is available but it was not in the grey colour I had wanted. They said that they will try and get the grey sleeper couch from East London and deliver it to my home.

A week later, I hadn't heard anything from the Mthatha store even though they had received all the monies for the sleeper couch. I called today and I spoke to the manager and she was very dismissive. Instead of assisting me she just told me that she wasn't at the store when I was there and doesn't know anything about my purchase.

I am at my wits' end trying to get assistance from the Mthatha store.
