NOMA MBELE LEWIS STORES DOBSONVILLE BRANCH MANAGER
I have 2 accounts with lewis stores. I visited the dobsonville branch to make a payment on my accounts. I am fully aware that my accounts are in arrears for the month of August due to an unforseen circumstance that affected my finances negatively. Lewis stores called me and i notified them i am unable to pay for that current month. On friday 27/09/2019 i received a call from one of their consultants who was so rude and told me i have a lot of names when will i be paying my accounts i told her as soon as i knock off i will visit their branch in JHB CBD. Unfortunately i couldnt make it. I decided to visit the dobsonville branch on Saturday 28/09/2019. I was rudely approached by the branch manager NOMA MBELE who informed me my accounts are in arrears and DEMANDED i provide a specific date as to when will i pay my accounts. I explained the reason i was unable to pay in August she told me i am making excuses. She then proceeded to scream at me asking me why am i opening accounts that i cannot afford as it is her "Responsibility" that all accounts are paid. We began to quarrel back and forth the staff literally had to hold her back as she started to approach me in a violent manner saying, i quote, "i am just respecting my position". When lewis stores appoints a manager please ensure it is a PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUAL as NOMA MBELE is UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND IMMATURE for the position she was appointed for. I have never felt so disrespected as a client and DEMAND justice for such behavior displayed by your so called manager. I am convinced NOMA MBELE does not understand the term of a manager. If managers behave like that, what example is she setting for employees that report to her or rather look up to her as their manager. This is utter nonsense and i will ensure i escalate this matter further.
