<p>My boyfriend Peter Smith app**** for credit at Lewis Stores online and was deemed qualified to open an account at lewis. We then went to the strand branch, whereby his application was completed. Knowing that lewis has got a payment option of no deposit we continued with the application, only to be told by the store manager that we must now pay a deposit at the end of going through all the application. My boyfriend Peter Smith qualified for R23000 credit and your own site and advertising say no deposit over goods bought for R3999. Yet we are now told to pay a deposit for a tv amounting R9000. I would like to know how can a well known furniture store like lewis store **** potential customers into believing they can buy at no deposit terms and then get misleaded???</p>
