MY refund turned into a voucher overnight

<p> i recently closed all my accounts i had with lewis stores garankuwa on the 05/05/2016 or 06/05/2016 account reference ***. Then on monday i received a call from lewis garankuwa saying that i overpaid my account and that i needed to come in the store to come get my refund of R 3000. i couldnt go the same day, i went on tuesday but the gentleman who called me was not available. The consultants offered to help me, after looking at my profile the refund was there so they send me to go get proof of payment of closure of the accounts which i did the same day. After wasting a precious hour of my life they told me they cant refund me because they havent collected enough money on that day. i asked them to transfer the money to my bank account if they dont have but apparently they are not allowed to. So on wednesday i call to speak to the gentleman who said i must come get the refund, he apologized to me and promised to get back to me as soon as they got the money. Later today {wednesday} i got the call from the same gentleman that i was not supposed to get the refund but to buy something of that price as the refund was indeed a voucher. The story doesnt add up, when i got in the store on tuesday the staffs were busy blaming each other that it wasnt the gentleman's responsbility to tell me that i have a refund and so on, and they dont seem to want to give me the money thats rightfully mine. i dont want anything from lewis store as i am fed up with their service, if its not the incorrect figures on ITC its the constant nagging you have to do to get your balance as they dont sent out monthly statements or even email you one in these days of technology.</p> <p>Dr Kamati</p>
