LIES/ terrible customer service

<p>In February This year 2016 I bought 3 items from the Lewis store in Woodstock Cape Town. I bought from the second hand section, the sales lady was almost too eager to sell me something from there as it would be a great way to clear their stock. The item I was concerned about was a two plate stove, I asked the lady what will happen IF something goes wrong with this item, she reassured me that she WILL give me a year warranty incase something happened because it is an electrical appliance. When I asked why there is so much stuff in the second hand section she said its mostly because people cant keep up with payments and not because the item is not working.</p> <p> </p> <p>3 months later I start to notice the stove is starting to cook very slowly. I monitor it until last week 18th July is when I actually called and wanted someone to come and take a look at it because I was under the impression it was still under a warranty as THAT is what the MANAGER told me. As i was enquiring at the store, the story suddenly changed ; the management says now that I knew it was second hand and there is no guarantees on second hand items. PATHETIC SERVICE.</p> <p> </p> <p>IF YOU TELL YOUR CUSTOMER ONE THING THEN LIE ABOUT IT THE NEXT.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will never recommend this store or brand to anyone. I will be taking this to social media if something is not done.</p>
