Lewis Wynberg Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What started out in the Lewis Wynberg store to literally be a all day thing now has become a nightmare!!!!! I am being harassed for my January bank statement when in the beginning in the store I let them know that my FNB statements runs from the 17th to the 17th of every month and that I get paid on the 27th of every month which they accepted to take it the 2 months bank statements and pay slip which is something they done out of their own. Now I work every single day literally, so I do not have any time to myself even or to even eat right but yet Tracey from Wynberg had the audacity to tell me that I must use my lunch to go to the branch which is something I would not be able to do in 30mins, and which they have now decided to inconvenience and harass me for a fault they they have made in the Lewis Wynberg Store and even calling me before at in the morning which is why I decided to post them on here.
Here’s is my response to Lewis Wynberg so please make sure it gets there :
Dear Lewis Stores Wynberg,
I acknowledge your request for an updated bank statement. As I have previously explained, my statements are generated on the 17th of each month, and I am unable to provide a new one until that date. I have already submitted my most recent statement along with my latest payment, fulfilling the initial requirements of our agreement.
I find it concerning that I am being pressured daily for a document that is not yet available, especially when the delay is due to standard banking procedures beyond my control. Furthermore, your threat to collect the items I purchased appears to be unfair and possibly in breach of consumer protection laws. Under South African consumer law, including the **National Credit Act (NCA)** and the **Consumer Protection Act (CPA)**, a creditor cannot simply repossess goods without following due legal process. If there is a legitimate issue with my account, I request that you provide:
1. A formal written notice outlining the exact contractual obligation I have allegedly failed to meet. 2. A reference to the specific terms in our agreement that justify repossession under these circumstances. 3. A legally compliant process for dispute resolution, as required by consumer law.
Until such documentation is provided, I consider any attempt to collect the items as ******** and in bad faith. I request that all further communication regarding this matter be provided in writing. I trust that we can resolve this professionally and look forward to your response.
Best regards.
