Lewis Stores stole my money

I had an account with lewis, even though it was in arrears. On 12 March 2026, i requested if i can have a discount on my total amount I'm owing and they granted me a discount of R1300. I paid the outstanding amount and i was told at the store in jhb commissioner street that my account is now settled. My understanding is that theere will be no more debit orders. To my surprise, on 25 March, they debited R800 from my account even though my account is settled. I went to the store to complain and request my refund and they said I'll be given my refund back. Since then they have requested my bank statement with proof of the debit and my id copy. Ive given these along with the email granting me the discount and attached the receipt of my payment to both the store and ***. Today it has been 20 days since i settled my account and 8 days since the wrongly debited form my account. They are taking me from pillar to post. Does anyone know how i can get my refund and close this account to clear my name from the credit bureau? Please help me. Lewis stores is a bad store
